Hi, Mark --
I took a vibraphone lesson with you a few years ago. I've just purchased a used Jenco vibes (probably from the '50's). Do you have any advice on how to clean it? -- Aluminum polish? A buffing wheel? Do I need to worry about altering the bars or throwing them out of tune in cleaning them?
I'd appreciate any advice you might have, and I'll look forward to seeing you again soon for another lesson.

I am a photographer from denver, In 2006 I was the primary photographer at the denver jazz fest and per your request I was nice enough to send a disc of all the images from that event to you. Since then many of these images have been used on your site and as promotional shots that have been published on other site and possibly print sources too. I don't normaly work for free and all I would ask is for credit of my work. It's hard for me to use clips from your site or from other sites that have published my work without credit. Normally I charge a minimum of $200 and I would likely charge more for an event like the jazz fest. Acoustic piano guy is confirmed, and he has a drummer (and possibly bass) player that he's worked with a lot and would like to use him. I'll find out names for you---but I think it's a good idea if they have a relationship will make the their working together better. My big Tony award winners are probably not going to be able to do it---so I'm working on second choices. Also I don't know if you know Doug Romoff--he owns Harmony543 (I believe that's the right name) Studios on tenth and 43rd. My brother knows him and is going to look at the space--it looks AMAZING but will probably be way out of our price range. We'll see what he has to say. But I think come Tuesday latest, we should try to book the space and lock that in. I'll touch base with you on Monday. Hope all is well. Bob
